Because our activity aim to ultimately impact health policies, our organization integrate ethical considerations at the highest level.

All research undertaken or sponsored by MAS will be carefully scrutinized to ensure:

  • No biases may pervert the research conduct and outcomes
  • All researches are approved by ethical committees as mandated by regulation and when appropriate even if not mandated
  • Research is respectful of national regulation wherever it is conducted
  • All researches will be made publicly available when finalized within a reasonable timeframe and preferably through an open source journal. Early dissemination is recommended through congresses

All members are expected to maintain their professional autonomy and to adopt a transparent balanced, fair, and objective attitude when conducting and reporting research, when speaking on behalf of the MAS, or when representing the MAS in official forum.
